Greater Boston Chapter of United Spinal Association is composed of staff members and trained volunteers, who have successfully navigated post SCI/D life, serve as mentors to help the newly injured, and their families’ to better understand what happened, transition back into the community and meet their goals of leading a fulfilling life. 

Empower SCI seeks to fill the gap in the rehabilitation industry that has been created by a decrease in length of stays at rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient services during the recovery from a spinal cord injury. 

Christopher Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by advancing innovative research and improving quality of life for individuals and families impacted by paralysis. 

Journey Forward provides an intense, exercise based program, working on many different activities including gait training, load bearing, and full body neural stimulation. 

Model Systems (MSKTC) works closely with researchers to develop resources for people living with spinal cord injury and their supporters. These user-friendly resources are grounded in evidence and available in a variety of formats. 

Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) helps individuals with disabilities to live and work independently. MRC is responsible for Vocational Rehabilitation, Community Living and eligibility determination for the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) federal benefits programs.
